Rabbi Yehoshua Friedman
received his general education at St.
John's College
in Annapolis, MD, USA,
renowned for its Great Books program. After making aliya
in 1970, he spent a number of years in yeshivot in Israel and is
currently affiliated with the Yeshivat Hesder in Ma'ale Efraim. He also worked as a computer programmer and systems
analyst for nearly 20 years in Israel
with the Finance Ministry. Rabbi Friedman serves as a board member of Root
& Branch Assn. and lectures in this capacity at the Israel Center,
primarily on the subject of Bnai Noach. He has taught
courses for conversion to Judaism and tutored and mentored conversion
candidates privately. He also serves on the board of Ezra L'Anousim,
which helps descendents of converted Sephardic Jews who are interested in
returning to Judaism. A graduate of Creative

Rabbi Friedman is available for coaching in dealing with life's complications
and getting back on track in personal growth. Rabbi Friedman is a
founding member of the community of Kochav Hashachar in Binyamin, where he lives with his wife Janet Kasten-Friedman and family. He is the father of eight and
grandfather of nine.
